Another day of Vacation Bible School. We also took 3 groups out in the neighborhood sharing Christ and asking the kids to come to VBS. Looking out the kitchen window we can see a volcano. Everything is green, with everyone having a garden. Also big fields of sugar cane and pineapple.

Yesterday we cemented the posts today we dropped the cement down the grooves. The problem is you have to lift them up to about 10 ft before dropping them down. I’m worn out.
Tomorrow we can start plumbing and cementing the walls.

Hard day of work. Dug a hole through claw, stood up post. Mixed concrete for three restrooms. Cindy did some painting and worked on Bible school skits: the story was to gird yourself with the armor of God.
Taking cold showers is tough and I really need it tonight. Lots of fresh fruit every meal. Mango pineapple papaya cantaloupe.

Got up early after Jane LaRoache's bunk collapsed. Visited the slums in San Jose and the work of Steve a fisherman Micah brought to Christ. He works with single women helping them fix up their houses, provides clothes. He also leads Bible studies. We then drove 3 hrs stopping at a restaurant for lunch. Another several hours to the Methodist camp.
Pretty nice camp like camp at Christopher. Another two hours to the church we are staying at. Supper and of to stay with a host family. Cold shower and a hot house with no air conditioning. Can't believe I am complaining of being hot!
